Last week, we saw the following actions take place across global markets:
- Real Estate has been the best asset class over the last one year up 24%, with Commodities in second up 22%. Furthermore, US and International stocks are up 13.5% and 10.5% respectively.
- Latin America rallied last week up 4%, but it lags Emerging Markets over the last one year. Also, Frontier Markets continue to struggle as a group down -6.2% for 2011.
- Most countries were up 1-3% around the world last week, with Emerging Markets outperforming Developed Markets. Canada and Germany continue to lead the G7 Countries.
- Telecom led all sectors last week up 2.4%. Technology was the only sector down for the week, but it only closed down -0.1%.
