Commodities are back to even for the year, as they have rallied since late June.

In fact, all five major asset classes have been in a positive trend since that time.

Some other highlights from markets around the world include:

  • Countries like Canada, Japan, Italy and Brazil are all down for the year.
  • The US, on the other hand, has dominated major stock markets over the last one year, up 9.9%.
  • Telecom leads US sectors, up 18.6%, with Technology behind in second, up 15.1%.
  • Large Growth is now up 11.7% this year, while Small Value is up 6.5%.  The spread between the US style boxes continues to grow.
