We are halfway through the year, and really only two of the world's five main asset classes have made any money - US Stocks & Real Estate. Real Estate was even almost negative a few weeks ago.
The World was down 1.2% for Q2, but it's up 4.7% year-to-date. The US was up 2.2% for the quarter and is up 12.5% this year. On the other hand, the World x US was down 4.2% for Q2 and is now down 1.7% in 2013.
Here in the US, Healthcare, Consumer Discretion & Financials lead all US sectors for the quarter and the year. Also, Small Caps are winning the style box return race halfway through 2013.
